1986

In August of this year, Transformers: The Movie came out in theaters. It starred some of the best animation ever and, of course, Leonard Nimoy and the late Orson Welles. It was actually Mr. Welles's last movie. Anyway, most of the 1986 toys stemmed from the movie. The thing is, the movie took two years to make, which is why the only gestalt in it was Devastator. So, this means the 1986 toys are actually 1984 toys. Does anyone care? I think not.
